EXAM PREPARATION

Build a study week you can actually finish

A practical way to turn available time into a manageable study plan.

Start with the week you have

Write down the hours that are genuinely available after work, classes and other commitments. Leave some space for an unexpected interruption. A plan that depends on every evening going perfectly is difficult to maintain.

Give each session a job

Choose one outcome for each block: understand a concept, attempt a small question set, or revisit a mistake. “Study reporting” is vague. “Attempt five consolidation questions and review the errors” gives you a clear finish line.

Plan the review too

Keep a few minutes after an attempt to read the explanation and note what changed your answer. If you only record a score, you miss the part that can improve the next attempt.

Adjust using evidence

At the end of the week, compare the plan with what happened. Keep what worked and reduce sessions that were repeatedly missed. Use your question history to choose one topic to revisit rather than adding another ambitious list.
