EXAM PREPARATION
When to practise and when to take a timed test
Use each mode for a clear purpose instead of treating every attempt as a mock exam.

Use practice to understand
Practice mode lets you check an answer, read the reasoning and correct your approach while the question is still fresh. It is useful when you are learning a topic or returning to mistakes.
Use a timed test to observe
A timed set lets you see how you allocate attention when feedback is delayed. Watch how long you spend on difficult questions, whether you leave easier marks unanswered and how you use the review stage.
Match the tool to the exam
Commerce Companion’s current timed sets contain selected objective questions. They are not full exam simulations. For official interface familiarisation and the complete range of question formats, use the relevant ACCA specimen or practice environment.
Review after submission
Give the review the same attention as the attempt. Identify one change to make next time: moving on sooner, checking units or improving a particular concept. A test is most useful when it changes your next study session.
